these stones are really great for that drink you do not want to dilute. and, for sure if you have the need to have it kool/neat with no melting ice-cubes this item is for you. i use 2-3 cubes for the effect and that they do not move around in the glass nor slide down the side when you hoist one . . . i like the presentation box to the size of the stones. nice edition to my barware and you will be impressed too.

Bought these as a present for my roommate and she loves them! After trying them myself, I was very pleased with the temperature of my whiskey. I used 3 stones in a shot of whiskey and they kept the whiskey cool for the duration of my drink...probably close to an hour. I honestly don't know how I've drank whiskey without them for so long.

These show up in an attractive box and gift bag. Haven't used them yet as they are for my groomsmen. I see nothing wrong with them. They are much smaller than I thought, roughly the size of a sugar cube.

I give these stones 2 stars for nice packaging ONLY. Sadly, 3 stones will not chill my expensive scotch and I do not like looking at these little grey things sitting at the bottom of my glass.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified, kept thinking that the stones would not keep my Whisky long cool. Boy were my fears ever unfounded! The Stones last quite a while! I normally nurse my Whisky well into the night. 15.00-23.00 or later! I have actually had friends in a state of schock say: You're still on your first?. But that is besides the point. These stones allowed my whisky to stay cool. Here I should be a bit honest as well. Normally I wouldn't drink my Whisky on the rocks (hihihi Aren't I a stinker!) however I live in Arizona and it does get a bit warm and certainly when enjoying such a beverage. Thus my reason for the stones. I was thoroughly impressed with the box and bag. However given that this was an unfinished box, the bag did have a bit of a woodsy smell to it. As pleasant as it was, it didn't suit well with my Whisky. The nose was offputting thus my choice to handwash the bag. A small complaint/ annoyance of the bag ist that it is rather tight fitting. I have switched to utilising the box and the bag is free to handle finer pieces just as screws, switches or whatever else I have lying around my office. I cannot speak for the longevitiy of the Box. The Hardware appears to be of a cheaper quality, However it handles nicely for now. I will update should anything go wrong. But for now I am perfectly happy in this regard. The Box is rather small and fits wonderfully in the freezer. Though it is small and should surely make a mental note of where you place it lest you lose it. The Stones themselves are quite charming! They are rounded at the corners and edges to minimise glas scratching! At this point in time I cannot speak for the longevity of the stones. I am not sure their life span. They do take 4 hours to "charge". You should be good if you take care of them right when you're finished or well before you plan on drinking. All in all I would reccomend to friends and family. In fact, becuase I am inpatient to wait for the product to refreeze, I am strongly considering the purchase of a couple more sets so that I could have a "batch" setup!

Great whiskey stones. They do their job just fine and look just so classy.

One of the only sets I found with a decorative box vs the commercial cardboard box, which was great for a gift! Very fast shipping and the stones are made from a great material. I imagine they'll work great.

Doesn't even chill a shot of whiskey with 3 cubes. Maybe the drink has to be chilled before adding the rocks?
