The chutes work great and are just long enough to keep the bowls, generally, in place. Yes, a cat could knock the bowl loose but my cat that used to pick the feeder up with her head and drop it to shake a few morsels loose (I fixed it with a weight on top of the feeder) has not dislodged a bowl in the month or so I have been using the divider. Well designed! Sturdy. The screen is great because it lets my more timid cat eat while his piggy and aggressive sister digs into the other bowl. Thanks PetSafe! You really impress.

This was easy to put together, although not so easy to take a part if you need to clean your feeder. Our two cats took a few days to figure out who’s side is who’s but it works really well and I loved being able to keep our current feeder. It fits perfectly

It works well if you have the compatible automatic feeder from the same brand. It neatly separates the falling pebbles and I like that my cats do not fight over food now. I wish it was a bit more sturdy: I noticed that if my robotic vacuum hits it, the barrier may get displaced. Easy to install and a good purchase if you have two cats.

I really appreciate that this is an option. My boy cat with his bulbous head kept pushing his sister out of the food bowl. Now with separate feeding channels, he mostly sticks to his bowl.... Well, mostly. He eats quicker, and when he is done with his bowl, he moves in next door... I have to train him a bit more, but this is certainly an improvement! This is certainly worth $20 for the right situation. The one negative is that the bowls move now, and sometimes food is 'distributed' to the floor. The single bowl option had a ring that stabilized the location of the bowl, now that is gone. I'll have to engineer something to accommodate for that short-sited error. Otherwise, it's perfect.

This was a God Send at first. Did exactly what I needed it to do! I was showing it to everyone. But it only lasted a couple weeks until it broke and now I’m back to square one. I don’t have much of a choice but to purchase another one and glue it together in hopes that it holds up? The bowls not being held in place is a big part of the problem… thought I had that covered by replacing them with taller bowls that have a rubber bottom to keep them from moving so much. Still broke.

Absolutely LOVE this!! My cats now eat more balanced meals and not stealing each others food. I highly recommend this if you have 2 cats and this feeder.

Now, two cats, two cups. Niche product. Does what I need to it do. Glad it exists. My cats dont fight as much.

I have the PetSafe auto feeder. At the time I bought it, it was the best solution to THIS objective: keep two big cats on a kibble feeding schedule. The PetSafe auto feeder was a pita to set up and program and the kibbles just shot out in one big push. Crazy fighting for food commenced! PetSafe had no meal splitting chute - at the time. I found a 3D printed, 2-chute diverter from Precision 3D (https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_dp_s_web_0?ie=UTF8&search-alias=aps&field-keywords=Precision+3D+Prints) it was not a great fit, BUT it kinda worked. Kudos to them for problem solving!!! Just don't put it ibn the dishwasher!!!! NOW - finally... PetSafe has a better solution. It does work well & better than the 3D model, BUT - why did it take them so long to address this issue? I grudgingly recommend this product! It works great but if PetSmart is a pet "expert" company they should have come out w/ this a long time ago. I've wasted money and time to adapt to their overpriced feeder - that is not as good as other places offer. I think I'll check out the CatIt feeders the next time. Overall: Chute=good w/ cavaets!!!!

This works as intended. A bit expensive for what it is, but I would buy it again. I did get one for my parents. Right now, I only have one cat, but I use this to dispense an even smaller amount than the machine can provide. So, half goes into her bowl and the other half into a closed container.

It works exactly as described providing accurate and on time feeding for our cats. It keeps them on the perfect schedule for feeding and notifies us when they were fed. It’s a great tool.

We like this feeder very much. We would rate it 5 stars if smaller portions we’re possible. We have cat’s that need to be fed several times a day. Also the splitter for 2 cats does not spit the portions even. But besides that we are very happy with the feeder
