Purchased this for my 7-year old daughter who has been dancing since the age of 4. It is awesome! Great quality, very sturdy and strong. Arrived in timely manner. She has been working on her double turns and pirouettes, but has a tough time spotting and keeping her balance on her doubles. This turn board has been so helpful for her to focus on pushing her center down into the floor to work on her balance and helping her get all the way around. Her jazz and ballet instructors have actually “approved” of it for her home use during online classes and home practice to help her work on her center. They are NOT fans of the turn boards that turn for the dancer (because then, naturally, what’s the point?). My daughter loves this and it works well on carpet as well as laminate or hard floors. Also, comes with a handy cinch-tie bag for storage or carrying!

I gave this to my daughter as a gift and she loves it. She is turning all the time and it even works on carpet.

This is a quality product that does what it is designed to do. Sturdy construction. The wood design looks great.

This turn board is a great idea. It is centered well and does spin nicely. It's a good size for my mid aged child. However, the bottom of the turn board is not smoothed out well and is splintering. There were splinters before she started using it, but after using it, there are many many many more. We don't have a professional dance floor at home, so she uses it on the carpet. Or did use it on the carpet, until it started snagging and causing problems. I won't allow her to use it on other floor areas because I'm worried it will scratch. An office chair mat works ok, but again, there are still splinters coming out of the bottom. I wanted to love this turn board more because it does work well, but the wood is just not smooth enough for me to not cause damage to my house floors.

I am not happy at all with this disc as it is not sturdy on my flooring, I had always had more than 30 days to return, I bought for my grandaughter and we were just able to try on our practice gym floor this week and it will not work without slipping and I am afraid it will slip and she may hurt herself. I need for someone to check into this as I do need to return and not sure who to contact. I am more afraid it will slip away from her and she get hurt. Thanks.

I like that it's wood and not plastic. Very durable, no friction. A great tool.

Fun tool to help build strength and technique for turns! Love that it’s wood too. Very sturdy.
