Better than the competition
Works well. The unit is made of good quality plastic (not thin trash like another boot dryer I had to return). The fan is decent, and the heating elements work well. It will dry my boots overnight, and has a spot for gloves which is nice as well. It is pretty good overall, but they should have provided caps to put over the pillars that are not in use (like when drying just boots) because a lot of heat and air escapes from the open pillars. I made some caps myself, but they should be included. A lot of these other "boot dryers" are garbage. This one was a LOT better for a little more money.

It's awesome 👍
This works amazing, I love it and use it everyday. Even when boots aren't wet I throw them on for a 60 mins or so and it's keeps them fresh and odor free. When they do get wet from rain or whatever this dries them out thoroughly for the next day. It's been 6 months of almost daily usage, no issues.

6 year review
I bought this boot dryer back in the beginning of 2020. I’ve used it everyday to dry my work boots after work and here it is on year 6 and it works just like new. Unbelievable quality and durability.

I would probably spring for the electronic timer
It works exactly as described and will slowly dry your boots. I suppose that's a good thing, as cooking boots/gloves over the floor registers like we did as kids did seem to shorten their lives. I appreciate that I can choose whether or not to use the heat, and the base is sturdy enough for a pair of 8" boots with or without something on the shorter risers. The only knock against this, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the timer. I think it is a mechanical timer because it turns hard for such a flimsy-feeling piece of kit and I'm worried that the timer or dial will fail before long. It is unlike any mechanical timer I've ever used, too, and honestly it's a little weird figuring out how far it needs to be turned (mechanical timers need to be turned to a certain point and then turned back to your chosen setting). I wish that the dial faced up, too, because it is very difficult to read the numbers unless I climb all the way down to hands and knees and make sure the front is well lit. I think the electronically timed version would probably correct all these issues. Be aware that the noise of the internal fan is comparable to a tabletop fan. It's by no means obtrusive in my house, but it is not silent. Of course, engineering a silent forced air boot dryer would probably lead to a Dyson-like cost, which would be silly. So overall I'm satisfied, with a couple (probably minor) caveats. I do recommend spending the extra money for the timer upgrade to digital, but this is a huge step up from the various methods I've used in the past.

Definitely worth it!
Bought this for my grandson - he tells me IT'S GREAT! dries his boots, shoes and gloves easily.... likes that it has a timer and can be run even without the heat on! Does a GREAT job..... he especially likes the extended posts for the ski boots..

Excellent Producy
I have a good friend that's been a semi-pro hockey player for 30 years - they recommended this boot dryer as it's one they've been using for more than 10 years. While it's a little more expensive than some of the others out there, I figured I'd rather spend a little more and get one that's going to last. So far, I've only been using it for about two months. It has worked well on heavy work boots, running shoes, and cleats. Often, we only need to set it to run for 20-30 minutes and haven't had to use the heat function, just air-drying has worked well removing all noticeable moisture. We keep it in our laundry room and hardly realize it's running, it's quieter than an oscillating fan or our washer/dryer. It is also nice that you can put two pairs of footwear on the dryer at once.

Hands down one of the best purchases I've made in years for hiking
This is hands down one of the best purchases I've made in years for my hiking activities. I hike almost every weekend in NC, and we have a lot of creek crossings in the mountains. Plus, it's really humid here and rains a lot. The first thing I do when I get to my car is take off my shoes and take the insoles out to help them air out, but if they got wet they'll take forever to dry. At home I'd lean them up against a table fan for a few hours. That works, but it is not ideal. This however is awesome. I can dry out hiking shoes in about an hour in two positions. Usually I leave the insoles in and place the shoes toe-up first. Then after about 30 minutes I'll lay the shoe flat, bottom sole up, with one heel on a nozzle and the shoe resting against the center frame. This will finish the job fast. I've exclusively used the high temperature setting and it has not ruined any fabrics. I probably wouldn't bother with the room temperature setting unless you have an extremely delicate fabric to dry. This also works for socks, gloves, baseball hat, dog harnesses, etc. Any time I have to walk the dog in the rain I can pop on my tennis shoes and harness for 30 min afterwards. Wash shoes in the washing machine? Use this to dry them instead of that constant clunking noise in the dryer. It also helps get rid of stink in shoes. It is an extremely versatile product and worth every penny if you frequently have wet shoes or other small clothing items to dry. For a hiker like me this thing was a game changer.
