I strongly recommend this cup for children who struggle to transition from baby bottles to straw cups. My now 3 year old is in OT Therapy and Feeding therapy. He struggles with food and drinking. He has a feeding tube currently, but for the longest time we could not get him to drink from anything. His therapist told me about honey bear cups, I was skeptical but I ordered one, and began practicing at home with him, it took a few weeks, but his been drinking from this cup ever since. It’s been crucial to help catch him up with oral and motor skills. Cannot recommend this cup enough, it truly has helped. If you have a toddler that’s very stubborn like mine and struggles with oral intake. This cup will help you. I am buying another one for back up.

My son has sensory issues and motor skill delays. He was 2 1/2 years old and still not drinking from a straw. I researched and found this honey bear bottle and it was highly recommended. I purchased it and he tried it one time. The very next day, he drank from a plastic straw at a restaurant for the first time ever. He’s been drinking from a straw since then. I am unsure if it was just pure luck, or if the bottle really works that well! Lol. I will say I expected a little more quality for the price. It is quite literally a honey bear bottle that has been rinsed out well of the honey, and the straws were 2 pieces of cut up hose pipe that you’d buy at a hardware store. So it could easily be a DIY project to make your own at home if need be.

I am not sure I can say enough good things about the Honey Bear cup. This cup is great for kids that are just learning to drink from a straw. This cup is used a lot for children with special needs that have difficulty drinking from a cup. The cup is made from plastic this is soft enough that you can squeeze the liquid up through the straw. This helps teach the child how to use the straw before the know how to suck. The straw is clear and flexible. The straw reminds me of aquarium tubing but is not so thick of material but has a larger opening. The cup comes with a flip open lid that will close and is spill proof. This cup will work with just about any liquids. I have used it with thickened liquids and the kids are able to get them up the straw because the straw has more of an opening than a regular straw. I have used this type of cup with a lot of kids have seen great results. This cup is affordable and seems to last a long time. I have had no complaints and parents have seen huge successes in learning to drink from a cup with this.

I purchased this cup for my 13 month old after several unsuccessful attempts to get her to drink from a straw. I was hesitant to buy this because it’s so expensive for a bottle. When I got the bottle in the mail, I was super disappointed. I thought, what kind of crap did I waste $17.50 on? It legit looks like honey bottle with a straw in it. The bottle feels kind of flimsy and is definitely not dishwasher safe. After my initial disappointment, I decided to try the bottle. Oh my gosh, to my surprise my toddler picked up how to drink from a straw in 1 attempt. This bottle did what no other bottle had done. My toddler LOVES drinking water from this bottle. It fits perfectly in her little hands, does NOT drip even when she throws it on the ground and flips it upside down. This bottle is spectacular. I’m still in shock. I can’t stress enough how much I love this very expensive bottle. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but BUY this bottle if you’re a parent of a young child. It’s a lifesaver. I believe this product deserves FOUR stars (minus a star for the price).

This cup is great for teaching toddlers to drink from a straw. It also allows thickened liquids to be drank if dysphagia is a concern. It’s easy to clean.

My son is two years old with autism and no matter what I did I couldn’t get him to drink from a straw. He just wanted to bite it, he didn’t understand to suck out of it like his sippy cups. One of his therapist told me about this bottle and I bought it the same day. He literally got it within 5 seconds of using it and is now only using his toddler tumbler with a straw to drink out of. I threw this bottle away after the first 3 days of using it because I no longer needed it. It definitely did its job and I don’t see it as something you have your kids use all the time. I see reviews complaining about it it leaking or what ever but it’s literally just to get your kids to understand how a straw works it’s not ment to be an everyday cup for them to use for months. It’s worth the buy if you can’t get your kiddo to use a straw any other way.

I bought the TalkTools Honey Bear Straw Cup with Handles for my toddler who has cerebral palsy and needs extra support with oral motor skills and independent drinking. Overall, I do think this cup serves its purpose well and has been helpful for therapy practice at home, especially because the handles are easy for little hands to grip and the squeezable bottle helps encourage straw drinking. The bear design is also very cute and visually engaging for children. That said, there are a couple quality and design issues I noticed right away that kept this from being a 5-star experience for me. The biggest issue is the straw sliding down into the cup when the cap is closed. Every time I snap the lid shut, the straw tends to fall further into the opening, making it difficult to grab and pull back out the next time we use it. When you’re caring for a child with motor challenges or trying to keep feeding routines smooth, small inconveniences like that become frustrating pretty quickly. I wish the straw had a stopper or tighter fit to prevent it from slipping down. I also noticed that the paint/color on the bear’s nose was already coming off immediately after opening the package. Since this is a product designed for children and frequent handling, I expected the finish to hold up better straight out of the box. Despite those issues, I still think the cup can be very useful as a feeding therapy tool, especially for children learning straw drinking skills or needing oral motor support. The concept is great and it has genuinely helped my toddler practice drinking more independently. I just hope the company improves the durability and straw design because with a few adjustments this could easily be an amazing product.

These cups are perfect for teaching your little one how to drink from a straw. My only complaint is the straw is a little difficult to pull through the top. It’s easy for baby to hold while you squeeze to help baby drink.

The paint is flaking off. I just unboxed it and it’s like this. Very worrying as a baby might just put the bottle in her mouth and I test the paint. For the price, the quality doesn’t match . Kindly assist in replacing or refunding. thanks

Considero que están muy caros para lo que son. Imaginaba que por ser los originales estarían mucho mejor que los genéricos y están cero prácticos. El popote está posicionado en el centro de la tapa y la tapa solo es abatible así que el bebé casi se raspa la cara cada que le toma, tienes que estarle deteniendo la tapita para que no se raspe la carita el bebé. Además cada que cierra sola tapa, se sume el popote y cada que abres tienes que "rescatarlo" con el mini que queda fuera. Cero los recomiendo. Además los materiales se ven super equis, y no tiene relación con el costo. Nada recomendables.

El tarrito o termo es muy útil para bebé a partir de los 6 meses. Aguanta toda caída y mi hijo ahora de 9 meses y medio lo tira todo el tiempo al piso y no se revienta. Lo cargo a todos lados con el temor de dejarlo en alguna parte y perderlo pero es que para lo que costo $480 por un solo tarrito que a simple vista se ve insignificante hay que usarlo a la final. Muy resistente y mi hijo toma feliz de el. Así que 5 estrellas, pero muy caro. Hay que pensarlo si sí lo vas a usar tanto. Yo lo uso todo el tiempo pero solo agua eso si.

The flap broke off easily and how much ever you wash the bottle the water tastes bitter and plasticky .. disappointing
