Marvelous and Worth the Money
This castle goes to gather logically in about 30 minutes. It requires a small Phillips head screw driver that attaches the castle to the wooden base plate, 3 screws that's all. The castle is wooden, really nicely finished and sturdy. It is designed practically for kids to play with easily. It would make a marvelous gift as a big surprise for Christmas. We had initially bought Arwynns Novelmore Playmobile castle, but it was an expensive, inappropriate for 4 year olds, disappointment and returned. Comparatively, Bigjigs castle is a far superior product any which way you choose to compare the two. Sometimes, simper is better! Our son, whose various armies, knights, pirates, soldiers and barbarians , occupy the castle daily never seems to tire of using it for imaginative play.

Good thick pieces. All fairly easy to put together except needling the drawbridge strings. Sturdy when all pieces are slotted together and the few screw inserted.

The images and description are a good representation of how it really looks. It's a little more expensive than other options available, but worth it. The castle feels quite sturdy once assembled. It's not difficult to put together, but it's worth taking your time and following the visual instructions carefully. A couple of screws did not align fully, but this was not a major problem. Our grandson loves it.
