High quality, proper fit and action
The original drippers I had were like these but not Rain Bird. As they began to fail, I replaced with these which have performed great.

Exactly the Right Amount of Water, Exactly Where You Want It, Automatically. Done.
We have about 120 wine grape vines in six 70ft. rows on our Michigan Upper Peninsula farm. They are a mix of 1, 2 and 3 yr. olds. It's a hobby crop and we are trying to be cost and time efficient because we both work full time. Our first watering system was simply runs of soaker hose which proved unsatisfactory for a variety of reasons. We stumbled upon the Rain Bird drip irrigation system while wandering around at Menard's. The 1/2" main water line was quite reasonably priced at $30 something for 500 ft and the 1/4 tubing also at $8 for 100ft. I made my own ground staples out of 12ga vineyard wire) The whole system is well designed and very easy to install. Each of 120 vines required a certain amount of fiddling to get the tubing aimed where you want it but zip tying them to the stakes turned out to be the ticket. I am very impressed with the flexibility and the accurate delivery. We used these 1gph emitters, pierced directly into the main line and 1 foot of small tubing to aim the drip where it's needed. A little bit of trial and error and we discovered some necessary alterations in our plan, but nothing that really set us back---it was all quite logical once we got started with the installation. The whole system is run through a standard digital water timer---the kind used in-line with a garden hose. Pushing the emitters into the hose requires some effort and I'm glad I bought the special tool made for it---but I also found it useful to make a backing block out of a chunk of 2x4 to make that job even easier. Just slide the block under the main hose into the channel and the hose is supported and kept from flattening out as you easily poke that little guy in---(on the end of the block I cut a slot to make pushing in the ground staples easier) see the pictures. On the whole I'm very satisfied and we plan to install another system for our 3 big raised bed gardens. I recommend this system for DIYers and anyone who's a bit handy. Even on much smaller systems than mine, it seems like it would be cost effective in labor and water savings as well as over-all garden health. Note on useful life of system: My goal is to get at least 3 years out of this system, including taking it up each fall and reinstalling each spring. I'll update this review as those experiences are accumulated. So far so good though at this beginning stage.

Works well, but NOT as described
Cut and pasted directly from the description 1.0. GPH spot watering emitters for drip irrigation in a convenient large 30-pack Slow watering rate allows soil to absorb water more completely in the root zones of plants **Use in-line with 1/4" tubing or insert into 1/2" distribution tubing and run 1/4" tubing to plants** Pressure-compensating design delivers uniform flow from the beginning to end of tubing runs Self-flushing action minimizes clogging Note the third line in the description provided. I could not get these to work as in-line off my gravity-feed rain barrel. Fortunately I had some three-way adapters and was able to make it possible for each to have its very own spot at the "end of the line", and they are working wonderfully for that. But not until after I had to splice all my cut 1/4" tubing back together again to run water to them! (Most annoying)

Replaces the ones I already have
We had our backyard landscaped 7 years ago, but the last few years I noticed the plants were withering. Long story short, we have really hard water and the calcium was plugging the emitters. I bought these to replace those and now my plants are doing well again. They fit perfectly in the old holes and let the correct amount of water through. UPDATE - Bought another set of these as I ran short of the first 30. No problems and they work great.

Best emitters I’ve used
I love these drip emitters. I have a drip system running on the boundary of my property. Most of my plants and trees are located away from sprinkler system. The emitters are absolutely easy to install and have lasted several hot summers and still work in the spring when the irrigation water is turned back on. My original landscaper gave me a brand new pack. I ran through those fairly quick and purchased more in different drip rates. I like the 2 gallon emitters the best as 1 will work for small plants and a few can water a tree. All of this depends on type of plant/tree how much sun and rain your region receives etc. install is easy, maintenance is simple as they don’t need to be replaced b/c they are durable.

Easy to use
Work great and description is what they are.

They work and are secure
Emitters work but I question the calibration of flow as one emitter clearly delivers higher volume than others on the same line in a horizontal run. Recommend testing flow rate with empty cups at emitters to gauge volume/rate.

Awesome drippers. Been using for a couple months, no issues, and they all drip at the same rate.

This is for a drip method watering system it works exactly the way I need it to, one gallon a minute so the water can be absorbed into the soil instead of running away, very fast shipping, good product and good seller.
