MCWlaser Laser Safety Glasses 600-1100nm OD6+, Picosecond Laser/Cold Light/Yag Laser/Module Infrared Laser Eye Protection Laser Goggles for 755nm, 808nm, 980nm, 1064nm, 1080nm - desertcart.com Review: decent visibility! - I have heard different things from medical professionals about whether or not eye protection is needed for 3B cold lasers, but OSHA does recommend it. My class 3B cold laser that I use on both my dog and I is 650nm and 808nm wavelengths, so I was looking for the common coverage range in glasses of 600-1100nm. I was originally using a cheap pair of glasses, but the lenses were so dark it was hard to see anything when wearing them. Then I discovered that laser glasses are rated for VLT (visible light transmission), and 35% or higher is needed for better visibility. These glasses are VLT 50% (very good) and CE certified. The wavelength ranges are printed on the glasses, and they have high OD protection. The ends of the glasses can be bent to tighten the fit. Wearing these glasses is an adjustment, they do darken your vision, but now I’m able see the video instructions on my laptop while lasering my dog, and the laser timer too. (Laser vision has laser certified safety doggles for the dog!). Very happy I spent the money on these because now I actually wear protective glasses without too much of a hassle. I threw out the old cheap darker than dark ones. update: after wearing these a few times, they were consistently slipping down my nose even after bending the ear pieces. The lenses are heavy (not lightweight plastic). I added some silicone eyewear ear grips and they work beautifully! no more slipping. Review: It works perfectly! - It works perfectly!

Works well but fitting is an issue
Works well for the wave lengths it is designed to filter. But due to its weight it doesn’t stay in place on my face.

poor peripheral filtering for red light therapy
Does not filter peripheral light. Does a good job for head on, but still gives eye strain from red light, NIR therapy.

Great product
Works as advertised. Would definitely buy from this brand again once its protection expires.

I bought this laser to get rid of a tattoo on the outside of my ankle I used it as often as I could on the highest setting and it did absolutely nothing aside of cause itching after session- I lost a little ink from scratching so much I drew blood which scabbed after but the actual laser itself was not strong enough to create a scab.

There two lenses in these glasses. How I understood it? Good question. The outer lense in not well cut and fitted to the frame. So you see it in the photos. What is the consequence? You see a red gloss from the edges of lenses when you wear it. This means that the outer is more red filtering and inner is NIR. The rest seems OK, but this is a major drawback. I am not sure that I can use the glasses dur to this issue. Safety first
