These worked great, Alaska Airlines took the crates no problem with these fasteners.. It was also nice that we did not need a wrench to put on or take off. Can do it with your hands. Arrived quickly and are very solid. Put them on our crate from Hawaii to Seattle, with 60 pound dogs in the carrier. The dogs never flew before so we wanted to make sure they did not get out. The screws were all still attached and tight when we picked them up in Seattle. Continue to use a few for the crates that they sleep in now.

I have a 28 Inch Petmate Sky Kennel and for internation plane travel to Australia, atleast, you need all metal nuts and bolts. They come with plastic nuts. I wanted just the nuts but then I didn't want 25 nuts or whatever the option was. Hoping I can pass on the left overs and orginal nuts and bolts. This is easy enough to order online and fit no wories but I hate paying shipping on Amazon but it seemed same same wherever. I'm using these with zip ties.

I'm always looking for items that I can get at a discount or at garge sales that can be donated to animal shelters. Two weeks ago I was able to get a medium and large size dog carrier for $30. The only problem was the bolts were missing from the large carrier. Both were in really good condition so I bought them. These lifetime bolts are the goat. The can be finger tightened. Varikennel should have stuck with these. Well worth the money
