Amazing for the price
I’ll start off by saying I’ve been lucky not to receive one of the fakes like many others have but be careful as some sellers aren’t genuine on this listing. I’ve been amazed by the quality of the mi band 4 considering the price. The battery life is shockingly good, only losing 2-3% a day even with more accurate sleep tracking on and all notifications on. I had to reset to factory settings when I first got the device as I was losing several percent every 10 minutes or so, however this was quickly fixed with the rest. The step tracker is, for the most part, very accurate. There have been a few times where either it’s counted steps when I haven’t moved as well as no steps being counted when I am moving, however the two situations sort of cancel each other out in the end. Unless you need to know exact steps, this device is just fine for keeping track of roughly how many you’ve done. The heart rate monitor is also very accurate too as long as you have the band tight enough and in the recommended spot on your wrist. The exercise modes cover a good range and effectively track your heart rate throughout to estimate calories burnt and general work rate. There are many more features but those are the main ones I’ve found. I’ll also quickly mention that the vibration is good and the screen quality is excellent. The Mi Fit app that you can connect this band to is very effective and allows you to control a wide variety of features on the band. Many features reduce the battery life but none of them are going to drain your battery within a week. It does a good job of keeping track of sleep and identifying patterns, while the fitness area keeps track of workouts too. Overall, this is a very strong device and I can’t recommend it enough for those who want a basic fitness tracker, as well as a general every day smart watch.

Good product, great price
I bought a mi band 2 for my daughter when she was around 12, it was inexpensive and made her feel like she was part of the watch technology revolution. It was a simple device that basically tracked steps, but she was happy with it. She has since progressed into Fitbit, but more so because of what she wants to track and the fact she can afford to buy for herself now. I am still bound by budget, but that's not to say this mi band is any less gizmo than the Fitbit. The 4 is waterproof and I can swim with it. It pairs with my iPhone 7 fine. It tracks steps and flashes up with messages so long as my phone is fairly near. Don't underestimate this, it's a good fitness tracker with an affordable price tag. Idea first or second fitness tracker for teens who want to feel part of the fit boom and for busy mums too as it can show you upcoming calendar events too. You can customise how your messages buzz through so you know if you need to respond to any messages right away, although you can't do it on your watch screen, it's purely for notification purpose only. It links to music, but not you tube, well I've not found a way to as yet. But links to Spotify and Planet Rock fine! I've not used it yet to swim with, that's my main sport, but has been fine in the shower. All round, it's a good little gadget.

Good purchase 👍
I have been using Mi band since it's first appearance in the market. Recently thought of upgrading it, so ordered a new one on Amazon. First impression of the product is quite satisfying. Yesterday I received Mi band 4 in my hand. I was quite excited to wear it. Now for Amazon delivery, it's absolutely great. Received the package before it's delivery date. Packaging was, I think sufficient. Mi band 4 box was sealed. The box contained the following: ->Mi tracker ->rubber wrist band ->USB charging cable and a guide. The first thing I did was to remove the tracker from the band and put it on charge through the USB charger. It took around 2 hours to get fully charged. When it was charged fully it vibrated to notify of its status I really liked this part. Then I paired it with my Mi Fit app. In app: First -> my old band was deactivated. Then pairing with the new one started. After successful completion of pairing, it got another firmware update. After that my Mi band was ready to use. Now my Mi band 4 is up and running. No issues till now. Look n feel: Mi band 4 has a pretty good amoled display. Touch is working fine. Step count and heart rate are almost accurate. Other features I didn't check. You can control a lot of things through it. You can directly adjust brightness through the settings. Keeping brightness low will help battery life - I guess. It has three display theme. I like the default one. Battery life: As I have just started using it, I can't say much about it. Price: In this price you can't expect much. It's worth buying. Original or not: I am not an expert on this. But before buying I researched a bit about the product. I noted some points and decided to check those upon it's arrival. Those are: 1. Mi band 4 box top right corner mi logo : bright orange ✅ 2. Holo graphic 4 at the front of the box ✅ 3. At rear of the box bar code sticker✅ 4. Mi encryption on USB charger cap✅ 5. Mi encryption and serial number on Mi tracking device✅ 6. The guide book✅ - All were checked and in place. Now only thing is to see how it performs in long run.

Not too bad for the price
It's good for a rounded average of your stats. I definitely could not call it precise, but I can't compare it to anything else so maybe no device is perfectly precise. But either way I'll just write the things I would be interested to know before I had purchased myself. I've had and used the watch for a few weeks now. The first thing I noticed was that it was a tight squeeze getting the watch piece out of the wristband, I was afraid I was going to pull the screen away from the back of the watch piece. So I've learned to stretch the band out a lot more to give a bit more room but this has misshapen the band. I do like the band itself, it is very comfortable and easy to put on/take off. It also has a great range for small wrists to large wrists. But the watch is pretty bulky so it's uncomfortable to sleep with for me. The charger that comes with it leaves the watch piece dangling from the wall and pulling the cable downwards so I don't imagine the charging device itself will last very long. The bonus is that it took me just over an hour to charge from 0-100%. The battery life itself doesn't give me the 20 days. I got 8 days maximum. There were two options that if selected would be a drain on the battery life, one was heart rate monitoring and the other was something to do with better sleep monitoring. Selecting the heart option told me it would reduce battery life, selecting the sleep option told me it would severely reduce battery life. So I stuck with the heart rate monitoring since that's a basic expected function. This is what got me the 8 day battery life. Which is still good, I don't mind charging it up once a week! I found the heart rate monitor average/poor. It seems that it gets an average and shows that average for the most part. Eg. when I feel my heart rate has risen from an activity, I might look at my watch and see it's still set at resting until I click the heart icon to do a manual reading and then it will show the elevated number. When my heart is going superfast from hard activity it doesn't detect it at all and continues to give the resting rate even when I force a manual reading. I can't tell how it works because sometimes it will track the elevations and other times it won't. So I would say this function is hit or miss and unreliable. Only a vague idea of your overall heart rate is achievable. The sleep monitoring was pretty accurate in detecting when I fell asleep which I found amazing. I read before I sleep, but it was still able to tell the difference between that very low level activity and sleeping. The wake up time hasn't been on point, it mostly tells when you actually get up. Also, the amount of times awake is way off. I wake up 10+ times a night to turn over, get a drink etc. but it only picks up times I go to the toilet. It has been fun to keep track of how much sleep I get though. It's a great tool for that. The app is okay, some of the information is a bit clumsy but overall it presents the data you would expect, no frills. It works fine, it syncs fine. No problems with the app! Again with the steps, it's not exactly accurate I could be washing dishes and it would rack up some steps and things, but nothing extreme. I would say it does a pretty good job counting the steps overall. It is waterproof which I really like so I don't have to take it off washing the dishes/showering etc. But when water touches it, the screen is activated and things get selected and off it goes in a world of its own. Nothing catastrophic has happened yet but I might take it off for showers in the future in case it resets the device or something! Overall, it's good. But the only reason I keep wearing the watch and actually enjoy it is the notifications straight to your watch. When somebody is calling you can see the number, when a message comes in it's displayed and you can scroll through without ever having to get your phone out! So that's why I think it deserves 4 stars overall!

Best health and fitness gadget I have purchased in a very long time
The Mi Band 4 was recommended to me by my cousin and after allot of research and comparisons of this with other trackers, I opted for this one and very pleased that I did. I wanted something that had the functionality to show stop watch counts, steps, heart rate and activity pace all at the same time and this does exactly that, however other fitness trackers dont have the functionality of a stopwatch or the function to use a stopwatch with a heart rate monitor. Overall plus points: - The step counter is very accurate when used in walking mode, however I don't think the standard step counter is accurate. - The heart rate monitor appears to work fine, however I will compare it to the heart rate monitors at my local gyms treadmill, once the fitness sector is given a Covid-19 green light to reopen. - There is a calorie counter that compares burnt calories to food types such as 4.7 bottles of coke, which is really interesting. - I dont know how Mi have managed to design a tracker with a very long battery life. I had a Sony fitness watch that only lasted 2 days. - You can use the watch for days and it records all of the data without you having to sync with a mobile device via Bluetooth. - The workout data shows your average heart rate on the mobile app, which is brilliant. Overall negatives: - You have not purchased one! I won't be able to comment on the trackers other features as they are not relevant to why I purchased the device, however from what I have gone through, they all appear to work fine, such as the weather app and so fourth. If you are someone such as myself that appreciates gadgets and tech of excellent quality, then you will understand what I mean if you own one of these trackers. I am very impressed with this device that I am even tempted to buy a 2nd tracker as a backup. Overall if you are looking for a fitness tracker with the same reasons as myself, please go ahead purchase it. You won't be disappointed and I hope you find it as valuable and useful as I have.

Great everyday watch at a good price
This watch is pretty amazing for its price! I have had it for nearly four weeks now and haven't had to charge it again since switching it on for the first time. It is (to my surprise) also waterproof so, even when taking a shower or swimming, I never take it off. I don't think it's the best fitness tracker out there and the sleep data it's giving me isn't 100 % accurate - if you want a proper exercise watch, you'll have to spend more money. However, I simply wanted a watch that is comfortable enough to exercise with, sleep with, has a stopwatch and tells the time and for that purpose it's perfect! I also like that I can easily change the colour of the band. The only thing I don't like about it is that is has to be activated by touch (so you need two hands to tell the time!) And its touch sensor is so sensitive that it gets activated by water when I'm in the shower or anything that touches my watch while I exercise. It also needs to be connected to the app on your phone via Bluetooth to record exercise like running or cycling, because it doesn't have a built-in GPS so I usually don't even bother when I'm cycling. If you want to use it for running or cycling, you might as well just use the fitness app on your phone.

A feature-rich – affordable – lightweight and efficient smart band!
I bought this watch NOT because I needed a fitness tracker or heart rate monitor, but out of curiosity. Now that the market is dominated by the famous Apple Watch, Samsung Watch, Garmin etc. which have a more painful price – Xiaomi Mi Band 4 caught my attention through its features at such an affordable price. So, I decided to give it a try. You can easily see the time and date, step count, battery life, messages, caller ID, and other notifications coming from your Bluetooth-paired phone - on the colourful and bright OLED display. · One feature that I really like is the customisable watch faces you can download. There are tons of customisable watch faces on the internet. The combination of colourful watch face options combined with the vivid AMOLED display just adds to the premium feel of the Mi Band 4. · It's extremely comfortable to wear and not at all bulky - you truly do almost forget that you even have it on. · Build is durable. I've accidentally knocked the face on various surfaces, and it still doesn't have a scratch. The band seems to be holding well against daily wear and tear, so far. · The heart rate is near perfect accuracy most of the time as I've compared to manually checking my heart rate. · The battery life is fantastic. I haven't charged it in almost 10 days and it's at 41%. NOTE: the battery life will depend on the settings you've chosen. 👉 The Alarm + Custom vibration patterns are my favourite features of this band. No more annoying alarm sounds in the morning for me. Just set up a time and frequency - and this band will gently wake you up with a vibration at the scheduled time. ⓘ Mi Fit -> Profile -> Mi Smart Band 4 -> Alarm -> Vibration And then you can add a custom pattern for your alarms or apps notifications. ✔ Pros: + Comfortable and lightweight to wear + Water resistant (up to 50m) + Heart rate monitoring + Automatic activity tracking + Incredible battery life + Bright and colourful AMOLED display + Customisable watch faces ✖ Cons: - No Auto Brightness. Brightness control from within the band menu is a useful feature that helps you save / optimize battery. It would be nice if they had implemented an automatic brightness by using a brightness/lumen sensor but that's probably a feature for future iterations of this band. Overall, I would recommend to any of my friends looking for an affordable fitness tracker. ↘ ↘ ↘ I rely on reviews when I make purchases, so I put a lot of time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon. Please, show your appreciation by clicking the "Helpful" below when it asks if the review is really helpful! Thank you for your time and Have a Wonderful day!

The photo is of my old mi band, cos I prefer it!
So, to start with a positive, the price point on this is great, and the battery life is good. This is a replacement for my original xaomi mi band, which tracked steps and sleep. When the wrist strap broke (after years of use), I couldn't find a replacement, so I decided to upgrade to the mi band 4, as it wasn't expensive. Firstly, I don't think it looks as good as the old one, starting with the packaging. The original one comes in a box that looks really well designed and cool (see photo) This one has cheap looking packaging, that went straight in the bin. So,if you were buying as a gift, not so good. Secondly, this one looks more clunky, plain and plastic, where the original is sleek and matt (see photo). and just looks better (it cost me about €12 at the time!) Even the charger that comes with this has a poorer quality cable and this band can't be used with the original charger. Of course, it's got more features, like heart rate, and it logs different kinds of workouts. But I don't find the touchscreen very easy or intuitive so I'll probably just use it for steps and sleep, like my old one. If I could use the wrist band on this with my original mi band, I would, but they're different fit. I suppose to expect great looking design at this price seems spoilt, but that's what I got with the original.... I'm pining after my old mi band, and wish I could have just replaced the strap.
