My son is leaving for Argentina for two years to serve as missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He needs to take most of the things he will need with him, which feels a little daunting. This bottle is a great solution for being able to take a large quantity of mediation to cover colds/congestion through those two years, without taking up a lot of space. Blister packs are a bit of a hassle (especially in a big family, where we got through lots of medications). This is a great solution for us.

Substitute medication
I noted that liquid DayQuil brand OTC medicine which works well for me contains three active ingredients....Acetaminophen, plus a cough suppressant, and Phenylephrine 5 mg. Acetaminophen can skew my continuous monitor's reading so I like to minimize its use. While the cough suppressant helps me when needed, lots of times I am taking the DayQuil simply for nasal and sinus issues. Consequently, I am hoping by isolating the medication down to just active ingredient for nasal and sinus issues if I can get the same relief as with liquid DayQuil with a much cheaper product and without the baggage of acetaminophen that the DayQuil product brings with its useage. I have not had an opportunity yet to test my useage of this product. It came as promptly without any hassle. My only worry so far as that it dosage (10mg) is twice that as included in DayQuil and that fact that the dosage on the bottle was hard to find...it is on the back of a peel off label on the bottle instead of being printed on the bottle and could be easily misplaced.
