Amazing shortbread. If you don't know pinipig, you don't know what you're missing!
Goldilocks makes great shortbread. I've tried a number of varieties and never been disappointed. While the ube (purple sweet potato) is my favorite, pinipig is a close second. It's like rice krispies got turned into a toffee, then got mixed up in the shortbread batter. It's malty, toothsome, and very satisfying. These are individually wrapped, which might not be great for the environment but it does mean that they have a long shelf life. My household has been using them as small, relatively healthy desserts during the Covid-19 lockdown, and they really have made our lives better. If you are looking for a new sweet to try out, I highly recommend it! (But make sure to get the ube too.)

No star at all!
The two boxes of pinipig polvoron I got was already spoiled and tasted bitter and nasty. It made my husband and I have stomachache and diarrhea. (Sorry for the graphic, but that’s the truth). The flour looked old and hard. On top of that, I cannot even return the 2 boxes. I had to throw all them out. I would never by from this company and this product again. Would never recommended it. They sell expired items and made us sick!

Taste old and spoiled
I can’t find the expiration date on this product but I had to spit it out as soon as I placed it in my mouth. I’m a BIG fan of Leelin and Goldilocks products and sad that all their stores have pretty much closed in my area so I’ve had to resort to ordering my favorite Goldilocks snack online. I don’t know if I just got a bad batch but I wouldn’t recommend this. The product tastes old and spoiled. Sucks I can’t even return the second unopened package.
