Brilliant quality film - long-lasting, easy to install, and looks great
I’ve had this window film on for quite a while now and it’s still holding up perfectly. It hasn’t peeled, faded, or lifted at the edges, even with regular cleaning and sunlight on it every day. The quality is excellent and it still gives off that lovely rainbow effect when the light hits!!! Installation was really straightforward. It’s easy to cut to size with a sharp blade, and it clings well once you spray a bit of soapy water on the glass. I didn’t get many bubbles at all, and the few that appeared were easy to push out with a card. It’s also completely removable and repositionable, so if you don’t line it up right the first time, you can peel it back and try again without ruining it. It’s great for privacy and also helps keep the room a bit cooler in the summer by reflecting some of the heat, and in winter, it seems to hold the warmth in slightly better than bare glass. The durability has really impressed me; after all this time, it still looks as good as new. Overall, this is a fantastic product, durable, easy to install, and simple to maintain. It looks beautiful, adds a touch of colour, and does exactly what it promises. Highly recommended.

Pretty, Private & Easy to Install!
Don't be fooled by the clear look when you get it--this stuff is great. Super easy to apply by sloshing some soapy water on your window pane then smoothing this on. Don't bother buying an application tool kit...you can smooth out bubbles with any soft material and a bit of pressure (my favorite bubble smoothers have always been the edge of a thin pad of sticky notes or a ruler). The only part you can't cheat with is the measuring. Lay it out flat on a table and do it right by drawing a guideline with a permanent pen on the paper side, and cutting neatly with scissors. (If your table has a crack between leaves, you can use it to slice with a razor blade). If you cut your piece too big then try to trim the edges once it's on the window, it's a hassle. I cut mine about 1/8 to 1/4 inch too small on purpose, then slide it across the soapy film to center it. Works great. To buy, get the total area of your window panes by multiplying the length x height of each pane. Then do the same with the sizes available to sell so you can tell how many rolls you need. Don't bother trying to get a piece large enough to cover your pane in one strip--you'll have a lot of leftover scraps and pay too much money. Just get enough to cover the area you've calculated and plan to have multiple strips on a single window when needed. The seams hide well with this rainbow prism pattern. As for privacy, it works so well you'll be able to dash about in your birthday suit without feeling like you're on display. There is no light loss--just pretty rainbow spots on your walls when the sun is out.

Great solution for privacy
This actually turned out very well. I deducted 1 star because I had to take it off and reapply it, (easily done), because at first I couldn't get all the bubbles out, even with an old loyalty card as a squeegee. My second attempt was much better. It looks just like obscure glass, and when the sun shines directly on it, it casts beautiful rainbows on the walls and floor in my hallway. It gives good daytime privacy, but you can see through at night if lights are on. I would definitely recommend it, if you have clear glass panels in your front door and you don't want the neighbours to see into your hallway. I put it on my utility room window too, and it does the job perfectly. It's easy to get the backing paper off if you put a little piece of sellotape on the two sides, and just use it to pull them apart, as stated in the instructions.

Obscure with Style, and Don't Lose the Light.
Now I'm not convinced that its made from real rabbits, but I have to say this film produces very pleasing results. We have a couple of windows that directly overlook some of next door's windows, and wanted to obscure them without cutting down the light significantly. This does that, while looking very nice - this version of the film isn't coloured - the colour is produced by a prismatic effect in the film, particularly effective in sunlight, and much nicer than obscure glass. The degree of obscurity was ideal for my needs - you can still see out to some degree, so the room doesn't feel cut off from the outside world, but it does provide privacy. Installation is very easy - cut the film slightly oversize (a proper cutting mat and craft knife or rotary cutter is ideal for keeping the sides straight and square,) make sure the window is really clean, spray with soapy water (I tried one window without the soap and it seems to work just as well), remove the backing film and apply it. You can slide it about at this point to get two sides exactly positioned - I used a window cleaning squeegee at this point to squeeze out the surplus water after which the film won't easily slide, then trimmed the other two sides with a craft knife. The only difficult bit is initially separating the backing film - I found folding over a small section of a corner would separate it enough to get a grip on, then the rest is easy. Unlike the reflective films, this will provide privacy day or night, and with much less light loss than any reflective film. Because the film is non-adhesive, it should be easily removable (I haven't tried this) should that be needed. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Far better than expected.
I wasn't expecting much from this, other than for it to be extremely difficult to put on. I do love to be proven wrong. I wanted this to stop my neighbour from being able to gawp in my bedroom window as I don't always want to have to drop my blind. Whilst I do have net curtains, during the evening with a light on he could still see directly in. I'm not an exhibitionist or into voyeurism, and whilst I appreciate that like frosted bathroom glass he would still see my shadow, I wanted to block out him seeing everything. I looked at several different films but wanted to still allow light into the room during the day and when I see this one and photo's others had shared with it showing some colour I knew it was the one for me. This film went on seamlessly. Not a bubble to be seen. The hardest part was peeling the film from the backing but once that is off you are good-to-go. The instructions are easy to understand and if you follow them you too should be able to get the film up without any issues. I did purchase a window film tool to use and would suggest you get one too as it certainly helped with smoothing and getting the film right up tight to the edges. This is one I used https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0932BZ3P7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 The only downside - as such - for me was that just one layer didn't afford the privacy I was after. It looked beautiful, the colours showing were gorgeous, but you could see more than is private, so I took a chance and double-layered. Again, the second layer went on smoothly and has done exactly what I needed it to do. Light filters in and some gorgeous colours are created (as you can see from the photographs) but I can neither see out, and all that can be seen of me now when I am in the room is my silhouette. In fact it's worked so well I am about to add a layer to my bathroom as the frosted glass in there still lets a lot be seen - if only several of my neighbours were aware of this when they strip off in the mornings in full view of their window believing the frosting keeps them unseen!!! It would be beautiful attached to glass panels between interior doors. *Point to note; the shadow animals you can see are actually window stickers that were on the window before the film went up; it covered them without hiding them*.

Gorgeous!
I took this out with the film backing still on and was initially disappointed at the lack of colour and considered returning after stumbling on some negative reviews. GUYS! The backing is white! That's not how it looks when on the window once you've peeled the backing off! Absolutely stunning. It blocks out the views so no-one can see in, even at night and it paints the walls in the most beautiful rainbow even in the winter! I can't wait to see how gorgeous it looks in summer. Super easy to put on, I recommend a spray bottle filled with water and teeny bit of dish soap. And get a wallpaper squeegee and a stanley blade to make thungs easier for yourself. Make sure you scrub the windows first too and try not to lay the film onto anything before putting it on the walls to avoid fluff! I have done every single window in my ground floor flat and I'm so pleased. Well worth the money.

Exceptional and even better than you can imagine.
Beyond expectations! Absolutely fantastic. Fantastic quality. Amazing value for money. Easy, easy installation, you don’t even need water. Just ensure you put up smooth side! I’ve now put up in the bedroom - north side small window and amazing rainbow! Bathroom and buying more to put on my French window. The colours are fantastic - and the light coming in is the same, but nobody can see in!! I am beyond happy - everything is just so pretty now. Over 22,000 people are not wrong. Exceptional.

Good but not as pictured
It’s pretty but doesn’t actually offer much privacy, so ineffective in that respect, it’s good just as durable window decor, it’s stayed on for many months without having to re apply.
