International Harvest, Organic Mango Slices, 12 Ounce

Ok these are 10/10, I’m obsessed with dried mango and have tried 5 or 6 different brands and this one is top tier. Super juicy/soft/chewy (not leathery or dry at all like a lot of them can be), and slices are huge (like the size my palm and very thick)

Love this product - other brands are often tough or tasteless - this is sweet and soft to chew - PERFECT! I do wish it were in different packaging though, paper maybe?? When I get this I empty it out into a glass container so the kids don't come into contact with the plastic bag. (Plastic is toxic, a known hormone disruptor, and it bioaccumulates - organic red pine needle oil removes it from the body fyi.) In spite of the plastic, great product!!!

This arrived intact and fresh! These guys are wonderful.

The mangoes are sourced from Mexico, and I usually prefer mangoes from Southeast Asia. They were slightly sweet in taste, but that’s the only positive. The mango pieces were so dry that they all stuck together and I had to literally claw them apart. Eating them was like chewing on a piece of leather, and the bag has a funny smell to it. For $11.29, this was robbery. Next time just get the 365 Whole Foods if you’re fiending for dried mangoes and the only place near you is a Whole Foods. Otherwise, save your money and look for dried mangoes sourced from Southeast Asia.

No added sugars or preservatives, these are peak natural dried mangoes. I don't know how their process differs from similar mango-only brands, but the texture these have is unique. You know how a thin slice of potato will puff up in hot oil? Something similar happens to these, where there's almost a hollow space between two flat surfaces of each slice. It adds an interesting, almost fluffy texture to the mouthfeel as your teeth sink into the otherwise straightforward soft chew of the fruit. Add to that the fact that there wasn't a single unripe piece in the whole bag, and these are truly the best dried mangoes money can buy. And at this price, yes, you expect the best because oof, that price tag (I got these on sale).

These are phenomenal dried mangoes. I hate the ones with sugar added and these are nice big pieces that taste just like the fruit. The price kills me a little but I guess it’s an incentive not to overdo it on the fructose, as they’re incredibly addictive! I’m picky about the brands - I used to buy the Trader Joe organic ones but like everything else, over time prices have sky rocketed, product sizes have decreased and some have compromised on the quality. What was bothering me with some other companies is that you would get some ‘sour tasting’ pieces in the bag. This one doesn’t and the mangoes are delicious and really tasty!
