I've read studies that involve older rats who were given this combination of supplements and how they were more energetic and acted younger than rats who were not given the supplements. I figured this ol' rat may as well try it and it does seem to have a mildly energizing effect on me. This may be because of an antioxidant effect, a blood sugar controlling effect, a placebo effect, or some combination. In any case, I'm on my second bottle and will probably continue purchasing it. I only take one capsule per day as two seemed to make me a touch jittery, possibly because ALA is supposed to lower blood sugar.

I’ve been taking this product for about 10 months. I can see a difference. I do recommend taking with food if you notice an upset stomach and discuss with your doctor if you’re taking meds to see if there is any impact.
