MONISTAT Chafing Relief Powder Gel 1.5 oz

This is wonderful stuff. I'm fluffy and this is one of the best anti chaffing gels I have used abd it smells nice.

I had a total knee replacement that went bad. I have a pot belly that forms a crease over my groin. During my hospital time I developed a yeast infection that eventually covered my entire groin and my abdominal crease. I was on serious pain pills during that extended time, so I knew I had a yeast infection, but my knee pain and/or the knee pain medication was masking it. Then I went to go off the pain pills. The more I decreased my pain pill dose, the more I itched. Finally it was quite bad. My entire groin, upper legs and lower stomach felt like they were on fire most of the time! It all actually happened pretty fast, it was a very agressive yeast infection. I couldn't sleep at night because of the itching, not because of my knee! My family Doctor put me on an aggressive course of Clotrimazole and Betamethasone cream. It killed the yeast infection. She now has me on Monostat Chafing Relief Powder Gel. It's Baby Powder in gel form. It keeps me dry, even when I'm active and sweat a lot in that area. I had never heard of Baby Powder in Gel form. No mess, like a powder. It covers my healing areas; no more pain. I put it on after my shower each evening and it lasts me all the next day. Sometimes I give it a little touch up on the abdominal crease area if I'm sweating a lot. I'm retired, but I'm an active guy. I like to exercise and work until I sweat. Sometimes I don't put it on until the morning to let my skin air out over night; no itch all night. It is not a medicine. It will not cure a yeast infection. It's just a mildly medicated Baby Powder in a clean, non-smelling, non-greasy, non-staining, gel form. I can use it as much or as little as I want, no problem. I strongly recommend this product to people who want to keep their groin area dry or who have a little pot belly that they want to keep clean and dry without serious medication. No more Itch!

This powder is great and I can recommend it to anyone for any type of chafing that you experience. It goes on as a jail and turns into a very light powder. The Monistat brand alone was enough to sell me, but the fact that it works exactly as advertise and does a great job makes me able to definitely tell you that I would highly recommend it.

This is a great chafing gel that turns to powder. It has a very clean light scent. It works well under my breasts and on my thighs so they don't rub together and burn.

Where we currently live, the summers are extremely hot. To make matters worse, we live in a 40+-yr old building with very little insulation left! Whatever the temps are outside are not too far off from inside, even with the AC running. I started using this last summer, when we had a 21-day streak of over-100-degree temps. It was a nightmare of a heat wave. I am overweight, so have some extra skin-to-skin places that perhaps others might not have. I get miserably uncomfortable in those places, to the point of my skin cracking or even bleeding. So, I ordered some of this. I couldn't find it locally, so ordered it from Amazon. It was shipped quickly and arrived in great shape. I wish Monistat would make a larger, more cost-effective tube. While a little does go a long way, theoretically, it is still a pretty small tube compared to the price. The feeling of this gel is wonderful - it glides on super soft and light textured. Even better, it WORKS! I didn't have the cracked skin despite the heat wherever I applied this. Note that it will not stop you from sweating, but will stop the chafing. There is only one bad part of this item (other than the cost being too high for how much you get! Seriously...) This is NOT non-comedogenic. So, this stuff WILL block skin pores like crazy. Where I noticed this the most was under my breasts (yeah, I said it! I am sure some of the ladies reading this review are thinking of that exact use!). It did a great job of stopping the chafing. My skin was not cracking or bleeding like before. BUT - it clogs up the pores. When I use this, my breasts almost look like they have mild acne. I get red zit-like dots, and some just fill up like a blackhead. It has to be this product, because it is the only thing I've used in that area. So, I was not very happy about that. However, I have tried a couple other products now, and while I didn't notice the pore-blocking, they also did not stop the chafing! So, it is a trade-off for large-breasted women. It works great for the chafing, but isn't so great for your pores.

J’ai acheté cette crème anti-frottements pour deux raisons: premièrement, personne n’est à l’abris d’en avoir besoin, surtout par cette chaleur. Mais la raison principale pour laquelle j’ai acheté cette crème est finalement toute autre: je l’ai achetée en complément d’une bouteille de lait de magnésie, afin de les utiliser en duo sur mon visage. Ayant la peau qui brille énormément (zone T), je cherchais désespérément une solution qui ne couterait pas un bras. Finalement, au grès de mes recherches sur le net, je suis tombée sur ces deux produits, qui, utilisés en duo, sont imbattables pour la matité de la peau. Vous appliquez d’abord le lait, puis la crème, et enfin BB crème ou fond de teint, et vous êtes parées pour une journée entière sans brillances, même sous le soleil le plus chaud qu’il soit. Attention, pas besoin d’en utiliser beaucoup. Une petite noix suffit amplement! === I bought this anti-friction cream for two reasons: First, no one is immune to need, especially in this heat. Honestly a life saver. And one of the only products for chafing that actually works. Nice feel, not sticky or oily.
